Oppo Malaysia announces winners of the ‘Beyond Your Vision’ photography contest at KLPF 2019

Oppo Malaysia has announced the winners of the ‘Beyond Your Vision’ photography contest at Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival (KLPF) 2019 yesterday. The winners walked away with prizes worth up to RM 95,000!

The China smartphone maker has collaborated with newspaper media (Sin Chew Daily, Oriental Daily News and Berita Harian), a radio station (Era.fm), tech media (Zing Gadget, TechNave, and Wiser.my), and e-commerce partners (Lazada and Shopee) to organize the photography contest.

The contest which ran from 22nd July to 20th August 2019, has received over 7,000 entries in five categories. The categories are Story of The World, Story of Creativity, Story of The Night, Story of The People, and Story of Patriotism.

In addition to winning their respective categories, all the first prize winners contested for the final round in the Ultimate Award at KLPF 2019. The winners of the award earned themselves cash prizes worth RM3,000 (First Prize), RM2000 (Second Prize), and RM1,000 (Third Prize). The judges for the award are Keda Z (celebrity photographer), Alex Tan (Asia’s Top 30 Photographer), and Grey Chow (Professional photographer of nature specializing in travel landscape and astronomy).

The KLPF 2019 started yesterday and will continue until tomorrow, 25th August 2019 at Viva Exhibition Hall, Kuala Lumpur. KLPF is an annual highlight for the local photography community, as well as a place for people who enjoy taking photographs to share their experiences and techniques for taking good photos.
