Acer introduces four new Chromebooks at IFA 2019
Four new Chromebooks have made their appearances at the next@acer 2019 global press conference in IFA 2019 in Berlin.
Two of them are large-display models – a 15.6-inch Acer Chromebook 315 and a 14-inch Chromebook 314. Meanwhile, the other two are 11.6-inch models – Acer Chromebook Spin 311 and Chromebook 311.
All models feature fanless design, HD webcam, fast Gigabit Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, two USB Type-C ports, two USB 3.1 ports and a microSD card reader slot. In addition to that, Google Assistant, multiple user sign-on, and Google Play are supported too.
Acer Chromebook 315
The Chromebook 315 has the largest display among the four new models, with a 15.6-inch display and up to a Full HD IPS display.
Available in both touch and non-touch models, the Chromebook offers both Intel Celeron and Intel Pentium processors, with up to 128 GB eMMC storage and up to 8 GB dual-channel SDRAM. It has a dedicated numeric keypad and up to 12.5 hours of battery life.
Acer Chromebook 314
Like Chromebook 315, the 14-inch Chromebook 314 has both touch and non-touch options, with up to a Full HD IPS display.
The Intel Celeron-powered Chromebook features up to 64 GB of eMMC storage and 8 GB dual-channel SDRAM. It has up to 12.5 hours of battery life.
Acer Chromebook Spin 311
The Chromebook Spin 311 features an 11.6-inch HD IPS touchscreen display, protected by an Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass. It weighs at just 1.2kg.
The 2-in-1 convertible Chromebook weighs features up to 64 GB of eMMC storage, 8 GB dual-channel SDRAM, and up to 10 hours of battery life.
It comes with an optional Wacom EMR stylus as well as an optional Full HD 1080p rear camera.
Acer Chromebook 311
The Chromebook 311 is lighter than its convertible counterpart at just 1.06kg. It features an 11.6-inch HD IPS display and comes in touch and non-touch options.
This model offers up to 32 GB of eMMC storage and 4 GB of dual-channel SDRAM. It has a battery life of up to 10 hours.
