Acer introduces four new Nitro XV3 series gaming monitors
At IFA 2019 in Berlin, Acer has also introduced a new series of Nitro gaming monitors.
The new Acer Nitro XV3 gaming series features four new monitors which are NVIDIA G-Sync compatible with high refresh rates up to 240Hz and ultra-high resolution. Two of them come with a 27-inch display, while the other two are 24.5-inch monitors.
The new 27-inch Nitro XV273U S gaming monitor features a WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440) with rapid 144Hz/overclock to 165Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the new Nitro XV273 X monitor features 27-inch Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080) with up to 240Hz refresh rate, DisplayHDR 400 and IPS native 5ms and G2G 1ms (0.1ms min.) response time.
On the other hand, the Acer Nitro XV253Q X and Nitro XV253Q P both feature a 24.5-inch Full HD display with 240Hz and 144Hz refresh rates respectively.
The NVIDIA G-Sync compatible Nitro XV3 series enable Variable Refresh Rates (VRR) by default when connected to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-Series and GeForce RTX 20-Series graphics cards to support dynamic refresh rates, eliminating screen tearing and minimizing lag.
They also feature Acer’s latest Agile-Splendor technology, with both panels of fast liquid crystals and 99% sRGB wide colour gamuts. Adaptive-Sync technology gives gamers high-resolution gaming through a fast response time of up to 1ms and Visual Response Boost (VRB) for smooth, tear-free gameplay.
Meanwhile, Acer VisionCare with Flickerless, BlueLightShield, ComfyView and low-dimming technologies make viewing more comfortable during long periods of gaming.
There is an Acer Game Mode which allows gamers to choose from eight preset display modes via on-screen digital (OSD) menu. Other than that, the built-in black boost enables gamers to select from 11 black level options to optimize visual advantage.
Last but not least, the monitors come with an ergonomically-designed stand with 20-degree swivel and tilt. The monitor can be separated from its stand to be mounted on the wall.
