Asia Pacific Predator League 2020 Malaysian Grand Finals offer RM 100,000 total prize pool
The Asia Pacific Predator League 2020 will be held in the Philippines on 22nd and 23rd February 2020. The third edition of the eSports tournament is expected to gather DOTA2 and PUBG gamers from 17 countries including teams from Malaysia.
Local qualifier competitions will start this October in Malaysia as well as other 16 participating regions. Interested teams can register for the DOTA 2 or PUBG qualifiers at the Predator League page.
For DOTA2, there will be 4 on-ground qualifier matches (held in Mineski Infinity Kuala Lumpur, Mineski Esport Arena Selangor, Eternity Esport Penang, and Gizmo Arena Sarawak) and 2 online qualifiers. The qualifying teams will meet for the Malaysian Grand Finals at Level Up KL, in KLCC on 9-10 November in Malaysia.
Meanwhile, PUBG will have 4 stages of online qualifiers, with the top four (4) teams of each qualifier scheduled to face each other at the Malaysian Grand Finals on 7-8 December at Battle Arena, Jaya Shopping Centre.
The total prize pool for the Malaysia leg is USD 25,000 (RM 100,000). Winners from the grand finals will represent Malaysia in the Asia Pacific Predator League 2020 to battle with teams from 16 other countries for the total prize pool of USD 400,000.
